Nice to meet you
Hello. I’m Rin-chan from the Control Department.
SHA’s website has finally come into being, and even I, as an MGR, am amazed at the speed at which our company is growing.
Well, this might be the first blog for the birth of HP, and it’s also the first time for me to write a blog, so I was worried about what to write, but I think I’ll take the safe way and write about the activities in the control department.
Working in the Control Department
In the Control Department, as written in Divisions, we are responsible for As written in the “Divisions”, we are responsible for “overall control and management of control-related tools”, but due to space limitations, we were not able to write anything specific.
One of the most important jobs in the control department is to manage the JoinFS control tools, and by using some software such as JoinFS and Euroscope, we can see the aircraft flying in JoinFS on Euroscope. In addition, we will be using TeamSpeack3 (TS3) as our voice tool, and TS3 has hidden power! By adding add-ons, we can create radio-like effects!
By combining these three elements, we have succeeded in creating a flight with control using only employees. This is not something we developed on our own, but is a ready-made system, so anyone can build the system itself. I would like to thank the various people who helped me build this system. It is still unstable in some areas, but we plan to improve it.
Other than that, we also work with employees who are familiar with air traffic control to create air traffic control communication example manuals and other useful materials for air traffic control-related flights.
In conclusion
One last thing. I’m an S1 at VATSIM, and I’m in the middle of my on-the-job training, so even though I’m the MGR of the ATC department, I can’t really educate employees about ATC. I’m going to try my best to get people interested in air traffic control and flight control.
This may seem a bit small for a blog, but this is my first time, so please bear with me… That’s about it for this time! See you soon!
